Nu-tech was established in the late 50's to manufacture by extrusion, cold drawing and finishing, zirconium alloy pressure tubes for the Canadian nuclear industry. Since the first shipment in 1962, over 17,000 of these pressure tubes have been produced for 40 nuclear reactors worldwide.

Nu-tech has diversified and now is a major supplier of seamless titanium tubing and pipe in North America. We also manufacture titanium clad copper conductor bars for corrosive environments as well as extruded composite rods for drawing into superconducting wires.
Nu-tech produces round bar, flat sections, shapes, cannulated bar, hollows, finished shapes etc for the aerospace and medical industries. We extrude high-performance titanium and zirconium alloys as well as niobium, hafnium, tantalum, copper, aluminum, nitinol, stainless steel, nickel etc. Our products are perfect for corrosive environments such as chemical and subsea applications.
